Counselling:
Wellington Care Centre offers the chance to talk to someone trained to listen and care about your concerns in a supportive environment.
All counselling focuses on personal needs, with tailored, recognised therapy that will suit you and your situation in life. We aim to offer high quality, low cost professional counselling for individuals, couples, or families experiencing crisis or seeking new directions, or making important decisions.
Our experienced counsellors take a holistic approach to help you develop strategies that address and manage your issues in more effective and positive ways, aiming to improve the quality of your life.
We hope that you truly experience the relief of sharing your burdens, the freedom of recovery and the strength of restoration.
Wellington Care Centre is committed to help and support our community regardless of race, gender, age, religion or social status. Clients can expect that all aspects of the counselling relationship will be treated confidentially.
Groups and Workshops:
Wellington Care Centre will be offering workshops and life skills education for individuals, couples and families on a number of topics throughout the year. These workshops will be posted on this website and advertised through local media, schools and other agencies as they become available. The topics will be generated by the demand and recurrence of local issues and our clients needs.
We hope to also provide, as numbers allow, informal support groups for people in similar situations to support one another through life’s challenges, offering understanding and the sharing of resources with one another, empowering each other to keep going and not do it alone.

Emergency Relief
Emergency relief is available to those residing in Knox City area. Food parcels and vouchers may be obtained from the Wellington Care Centre on Tuesday and Thursday only between 9.00am and 3.00pm by appointment only phone 97643738.
